Tax Holiday for New Mexico Residents

The tax holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on the first Friday of August and concludes on the following Sunday at midnight.

Eyewear and Sunglasses are still taxable.

What strength reading glasses do you carry?

I See U Glasses carry powers +0.50 up to +6.00.

Be sure to check your favorite style as not all powers of magnification are available in all frame styles. ALSO, a few of our frames come with no power of magnification or 0.00.

Most of our cutting edge frames, and those that say Can be R_xor R_x able can be taken to your local optical shop to be fitted with your personal prescription when the time comes.

How are the measurements for the frames taken?

In INCHES: With the frames open, the width is measured - just behind the lens - across from the outside of 1 temple/bow/arm (depending on what you call it) to the outside of the other. The height of the frame is measured by using the distance, including the frame from the top to the bottom of 1 lens = frame+lens+frame.

In MILLIMETERS: The first number is the width of one lens. The second, is the width of the bridge. The third, is the length of the temple

Will reading glasses solve every vision issue?

No.

Ready-to-wear non-prescription glasses are not intended to replace prescribed corrective lenses or examinations by an eyecare professional.

Scheduling eye check-ups with a qualified professional - at least once every two years - is necessary to determine the status of your eye health and your vision needs.

When will my items arrive?

Your items normally leave our warehouse within 3 days of receiving the order.

Items ordered over the weekend, will ship out on Tuesday or Wednesday.

For First Class, expect delivery within 8-10 days of placing your order.

For priority shipping, then your package will arrive within 5-7 days of placing your order.

What if my items arrive damaged?

All packages are shipped insured. See the RETURN POLICY page for specific answers.

What are the shipping charges?

For items delivered within the United States and it's territories, First Class shipping is free.

What material are your lenses made of?

The use of glass is being phased out. In fact, glass lenses can be found in just 3 of our folding frame models.

Most all ready made lenses are acrylic. A plus is that acrylic weighs almost half that of glass.

Some of our safety lenses are made of shatterproof polycarbonate.

When we do special powers - like 0.50, 0.75, 4.50, 5.00, & 6.00 - they are generally made from CR-39, a plastic polymer.

How do I know that the frame or page I saved is still valid?

If you have either "bookmarked" a frame style you like or have placed it in your "favorites" be sure to refresh the page next time you view it.

You will want to do this because, the availability of the power you need may have changed since your last visit.
